Inherent Moral Capabilities are Not Determined by Biological Sex



Morality is about meaning.


Many of us have bought into the idea that men and women have different, inherent moral capabilities, simply due to their biology. It could be that many of us believe that moral gender roles should be assigned to the sexes, too, in order for there to be a healthy functioning society. Either way, to say that different moral capabilities should be split between the sexes creates the dangerous idea that men are morally inferior, in ways, compared to women and vice versa.
